Ordering & Shipping

A Stone's Throw website accepts Visa & Master Card.

A sales tax of 8.25% will be added to all shipments mailed within the state of California.

All orders will be shipped USPS First Class Insured for a shipping and handling flat rate of $6.50. An additional fee will apply to international addresses. Orders exceeding $375 will receive complimentary shipping. Any claims of damage or shortage must be reported within five working days after receipt of merchandise.

If you would like your order gift-wrapped in beautiful hand-crafted paper, you may chose to do so during the checkout process for an additional fee of $3.75 per item.

All jewelry from A Stone's Throw is handcrafted in Los Angeles and is custom made to order, based on the availability of stones. Most orders will be sent out within 10 days. In the rare case that your order will take longer to ship, you will be notified via e-mail. If you require faster shipping, please call 970.333.3464 or e-mail sales@astonesthrow.us, so that your order may be expedited to meet your deadline. Overnight, 2- and 3-day delivery may available for an additional fee, but please call ahead to check for availability.

A Stone's Throw uses only the finest available materials. Due to the unique beauty of gemstones, your actual piece may differ slightly in color, shape, and size from the images viewed. Since colors seen on computer monitors vary, the accuracy of the appearance of the images on www.astonesthrow.us cannot be guaranteed.

Return Policy

Because A Stone's Throw wants its customers to be 100% satisfied with their purchases, all standard items may be returned within 5 days of receipt. Items must be returned in the condition received and the customer is responsible for return shipping. Returns must be insured and sent with a tracking number. A Stone's Throw will not assume responsibility for any returned merchandise that is lost in transit and the customer will be responsible for the cost of the merchandise. Reimbursements for returns do not include original shipping costs.

Custom order sales are final and are not returnable.

Jewelry Care & Repair

A Stone's Throw has the highest standards for the quality of its jewelry. These delicate handmade pieces must be treated with care in order to preserve their original beauty. All merchandise is guaranteed to be free of defects. If an item needs to be repaired, and the fault lies solely in the craftsmanship, it will be repaired free of charge for 60 days after receipt. A Stone's Throw reserves the right to charge a repair fee outside the 60-day window, as well as for jewelry that has failed due to misuse or customer neglect.

All pieces strung on silk must not be worn in the water. Even with proper care, silk pieces may need to be restrung after 1-2 years of regular use. For merchandise over 60 days old, there will be a $25 - $65 restringing charge, plus shipping.

Pieces made with sterling silver will, over time, tarnish and can be cleaned with a jewelry polishing cloth. Jewelry made with solid 14k gold may be periodically polished with jewelry cleanser, although certain products are too abrasive for some stones, so please read the instructions before submersing gemstones. Pearls must never be submersed in jewelry cleanser.

Upon ordering products from www.astonesthrow.com, you agree to defend, indemnify and hold A Stone's Throw harmless from and against any and all claims, damages, costs and expenses, including attorneys' fees, arising from or related to your use of the A Stone's Throw website.
