Kimberly Stafford grew up as a tomboy in Huntington, New York surrounded by sports-crazed, banged-up neighborhood boys. Despite a wicked left-arm, Kim always had a special place for the natural treasures she collected - polished stones, colorful seashells, and paper-thin, fallen leaves.

In college, Kim's love and respect for Mother Nature's beauty continued to mature and evolve. She began to explore pristine backcountry wildernesses both within United States and overseas, collecting treasures all the way.

It was when she moved to Los Angeles that Kim's natural eye for beauty collided with a fast-paced, fashion-forward, urban pulse. She began using gemstones not only to emulate the feeling of being one with nature, but also to harness the heat of the city and bring them to life. Her creations fuse organic materials with sexy and sophisticated designs, which is no wonder why her work is becoming so well known.
